LeanIn Design was founded by Lindsey MacNeil at the start of the pandemic in 2020. Her goal is to build a consulting firm with a simple mission, to help startups and organizations deliver solutions that matter and exceed expectations. Doing so with radical candor and collaborative engagement.
She has worked with dozens of international and national brands over the past 18 years. Her services spanning business analysis, management, design, and cultural analysis have helped those companies generate millions through retention and growth.
Her highly creative and imaginative way of thinking often identifies connections that others do not. Aiming to balance the facts of a situation with the deeper meanings, interpretations, and implications. Frequently hearing she has unusual ideas, a PHD mindset, and can perceive things that other people are not aware of. This likely stems from how she easily empathizes with others and enjoys envisioning alternate realities and possibilities for the future.
A critical thinker who often analyzes how things (and people) around her could improve. Keenly aware of how people, including herself, impact one another and often thinks about ways in which we can level the playing fields. She strives to reflect respect shown to and around her. Calling attention to what is wrong, especially when it involves the obvious crossing moral and ethical lines.
Values at the core
“I want more for all people, by extension that means I want more out of myself and others.” The idea of living for one’s self is a fallacy to her, one that nations and companies continually prove.
She has a genuine love of ideas and values, originality, creativity, and imagination. Seeing the improvement of one’s mind as a foundationally important and worthy goal. She consistently seeks opportunities to learn new things and improve her mind. The value of an intellectual challenge, depth of thought, and insight can be immeasurable. Thus her interests included humanistic enlightenment and novel ideas, and she places great value on artistic and cultural endeavors.
